Symptom
When consuming SAP Datasphere's data via JDBC/ODBC connection, for the header of each column, it displays the "Technical Name" instead of "Business Name".
Like below, the head of column is 'date'.
In SAP Datasphere, the "Technical Name" of the field is 'date', whereas the "Business Name" of the field is Japanese.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP Datasphere
Reproducing the Issue
Check data from SAP Datasphere (for example, Business Builder) via ODBC connection and display on client (for example, MS Access).
Cause
The technical name is the value of the database field - which is shown from the JDBC/ODBC connection as well.
The business names were added as label information in underlying database but this may not be transferred via JDBC/ODBC towards the JDBC/ODBC client.
Resolution
System behavior. See above cause for explanation.
