3220227 - Error message when using Hire Date Correction

• When using the Hire Date Correction tool, the following Error message comes up :

com.successfactors.sca.ServiceApplicationException: com.successfactors.db.dao.DAOException: HibernateException thrown could not prepare statement

• Checked all the validations as per the KBA - 2636395, everything seems to be valid / correct in this case but still receiving an Error

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Hire Date Correction tool from admin center
2. Try to change the hire date for a user and see the Application Error

• The Hire Date Correction tool doesn't work, because there is a cross-portlet rule which triggers onSave in Employment Details
• This can be validated via a Rule Trace

• Cross-Portlet rules are not supported during Hire Date Correction. This has been documented in the guide already.
