3220729 - Checkpoints: Import and Export Job for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Data to BW or BW/4HANA via an OData Service

1. This article includes a summary of critical steps to set up ODATA connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) as well as troubleshooting suggestions.
    
2. User is using OData services connection (https://<BW SERVER:PORT>/sap/opu/odata/sap/RSBPC_ODATA_EXPORT_SRV) in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to export data to BW or BW/4HANA.
   
   
3. User is not able to set up OData Services in BW or BW/4HANA.
   1. Unable to connect to datasource. Check the connection details and user credentials, and then try again. 
   2. Please verify SAP Cloud Platform Cloud Connector connection status and check the Cloud Connector logs to see if the network firewall is blocking external access. If connected, please contact SAP Support regarding backend connectivity issue. 
       
4. User gets the following issue when running an export:
   
   1. The user does not have permission to access the requested resource.
   2. /IWFND/MED170 No service found for namespace, name 'RSBPC_ODATA_EXPORT', version '0001'.
   3. The job failed due to an unexpected internal server error.
   4. HTTP 404 Not Found.
   5. Response from external server has status code of 500.
   6. /IWFND/CM_COS064  No System Alias found for Service 'RSBPC_ODATA_EXPORT_SRV_0001' and user 'XXX'.
   7. ERROR_INVALID_INSTANCE_NAME  query instance name not entity set or function import
   8. /IWFND/CM_CONSUMER122 Error 500 Object RSBPC_ODATA is not defined
   9. An error occurred while getting export result: Response from external server has status code of 503
   10. Response from external server has status code of 503
   11. 503 There is no SAP Cloud Connector
