3220953 - How to Use UI Switches to Deactivate Certain Item on Home Work Center

Symptom

You want to disable certain items on Home work center view using UI Switches.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Application and User Management work center.
  2. Go to Business Roles view.
  3. Select the relevant Business Role.
  4. Edit.
  5. Go to UI Switches Tab.
  6. Add Row.
  7. Select the item you want to disable.
  8. Save.
  9. Business User assigned with this Business Role will not be able to see the disabled item on Home work center view.
