3221059 - Error when initiate activity from Recruiting Management - Onboarding

Error is thrown when initiate a Crossboarding activity:

Validate HRIS data for user. Error in saving the HRIS request for the internal hire: status:(ERROR) msg:(User xxxxxxx has invalid values for these fields: [xxxxxxxxxx])

Mandatory field not mapped

Recruit to hire mapping tool can display the mandatory fields only based on the succession data model whereas the crossboaring honors the employee data model. So if a field is set as mandatory in employee data model this has to be passed from recruiting. Or else it needs to be marked as optional. With b2205 release we have copy from old employment logic for the following entities.

• Job information
• Compensation Information
• Pay component recurring
• Pay component non recurring

But for employment info fields even though the previous employment related fields gets copied to new employment, the current logic could not identify the same.

We are planning to fix this behavior with an opt-in feature as part of b2211. As of b2205, all mandatory fields need to be passed from RCM.
