3221421 - Trying to load data into a SAC model from BPC results in "An internal server error occurred in the Data Acquisition Service"

When using connection type "SAP BPC 10.1 for SAP NetWeaver" the error "An internal server error occurred in the Data Acquisition Service" occurs.

Chrome developer tools shows error: "{\"error\":{\"code\":\"ERROR_FROM_EXTERNAL_SERVER\",\"rawError\":\"Response from external server has status code of 500\",\"params\":[]}}"

Same error can be found in the Kibana logs.

BPC server configuration has been changed to request SAML2 login

The Data Acquisition (DA) service used by SAC does not support it.

Change the following settings in SICF:

1.  On the BPC Server, run TCode SICF.
2. Display "External alias" for the services, and locate "/sap/bpc" under "default_host".
3. In the "Service Data" tab tick the option "Ignore inherited settings".
4. Optionally, in the "Logon data" tab, tick the option "Use All logon procedures".
