There is a notification from Apple to inform customers that they need to comply with their account deletion requirements by June 30: https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=12m75xbj
Based on my own understanding of the Apple notification, the customer just needs to ensure that their users while on their app, have the option to delete their own account. And once the user choose to delete, the customer's app just needs to make a call to "accounts.deleteAccount" to delete the user account from the API key/database.
One of the bullet points mentioned from the link was:
- If your app offers Sign in with Apple, you’ll need to use the Sign in with Apple REST API to revoke user tokens when deleting an account.
Is simply deleting the user account via the above flow, sufficient enough to meet the requirements from Apple? Is there any other extraordinary steps needed to be taken?
It mentioned "use the Sign in with Apple REST API to revoke user tokens when deleting an account", but given that Gigya SDK is the one managing all the users (creation, deletion, update etc), is there a way or a need to revoke the Apple sign-in user token when deleting the account?
