3221942 - Material Flow Rule FIFO Doesn't Work When Post Goods Issue

During post goods issue, system proposes identfied stock IDN_1, but you expect IDN_2 because you have set FIFO as picking strategy in material flow rule of ship-from site and IDN_2 has an earlier expiration date than IDN_1.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work center Outbound Logistics.
2. Go to view Delivery Proposals.
3. Search ABC (ABC represents delivery proposal ID), click Post Goods Issue.
4. In the screen "Create Outbound Delivery and Goods Issue", identified stock IDN_1 is proposed.
5. Click value help of Identified Stock ID, you can see identified stock IDN_2 is also available, it has earlier expiration date than IDN_1.
6. Check the material flow rule of ship-from site, FIFO is selected as picking strategy.

In corresponding logistics model (Standard Shipping, Without Task), "Storage" is selected for Source Logistics Use; however, in the material flow rule of ship-from site, different logistics area use is selected for Source Determination Rules.

You can either change the Source Logistics Use in logistics model, or add a new sequence under Source Determination Rules in the material flow rule of ship-from site, so that there is a matching of logistics use between logistics model with material flow rule.
