3222317 - Error trying to save Position Object Definitions - Employee Central

When trying to save position object the following error is triggered: 

"Position.location field refers to location, please delete the reference."

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Configure Object Definitions
2. Select Position
3. Take Action -> Make Correction
4. Change anything 
5. Click save:

Result:

In this case error points to Location object, this will happen when location object is not present in Corporate Data Model.

• Go to Import/Export Corporate Data Model
• Export the current corporate data model version
• Add Location object
• Import it.

Please note that Location and other standard foundation object must be in the system.
