Symptom

How to delete or archive any output items that are displayed in the Manage Output Items app with status In Preparation or To Be Output. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Manage Output Items.
  2. Apply the following filters to retrieve the list of output items that should be deleted or archived.
  • Application Object Type = SALES_DOCUMENT
  • Status = To Be Output
  • Channel = EDI

Resolution

To resolve the issue, the following information is required:

  • Customer’s written approval, explicitly stating that “SAP is allowed to delete these ‘In Preparation’ or ‘To Be Output’ output items.”
  • Detailed instructions outlining the steps required to obtain an accurate list of the output items.
