Symptom

How to mass delete output items that are displayed in the Manage Output Items app with status In Preparation or To Be Output. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Manage Output Items.
  2. Apply the following filters to retrieve the list of output items that should be deleted:
  • Application Object Type such as e.g SALES_DOCUMENT;
  • Status = To Be Output or In Preparation;
  • The respective Channel.

Cause

A mass delete can only be requested via SAP Support Case.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, the following information is required:

  • Customer’s written approval, explicitly stating that “SAP is allowed to delete these ‘In Preparation’ or ‘To Be Output’ output items.”
  • Detailed instructions outlining the steps required to obtain an accurate list of the output items.
