3224615 - In case customer wants to delete or archive some pending output items - S/4HANA Cloud

Customer may have a requirement regarding how to delete or archive any output items that are displayed in the 'Manage Output Items' app with one of the statuses – 'In Preparation' or 'To Be Output'. For example, for the Application Object Type 'Customer Statement (FFO_CORR_CUSST)' there are about 2,000 pending requests in the status 'In Preparation', which should not be sent or printed. What should we do?

Here is the action plan for the requirement:

For Customer:

1. Customer's written approval is required, such as 'SAP is allowed to delete these  'In Preparation' or 'To Be Output' output items'.
2. Provide with detailed steps to get the stable list of the output items.

For SAP:

1. With above information, the expert from each application need to confirm if deleting these output items indeed will not affect the related business.
2. With the confirmation from application view, the case can be handed over to next support level of component CA-GTF-OC who will help the customer remove these unnecessary output items.
