Symptom

  • To show data locking information, unsupported filters need to be removed: Advanced Filters" when input control filter by range is used.
  • Advanced Filters are not selected when creating Input Control. 

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022.8.14

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a story of the model configured with Data Locking. 
  2. Create a Input Control "by range"
  3. Notice there is a warning message To show data locking information, unsupported filters need to be removed: Advanced Filters". Advance filters are not used. 
  4. This warning is not generated when Input Control(no range) is created in the story.
