Symptom

"Configure New Person Type" option not visible to configure the person type 'Onboardee' for compInfo & compInfo Country/Region specific in Manage Business Configuration

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Admin Center-> Manage Business Configuration.
  2. HRIS Elements-> compInfo-> No option visible “Configure New Person Type” -> Onboardee.

       

Cause

This is working as designed.

Resolution

  • The Person type 'Onboardee' is not supported for compInfo and compInfo Country/region specific portlet. 
  • We have requested documentation team to update the handbook on the same.
