3225427 - Is it possible to add a date suffix in the SFTP file name when using standard integration packages between SF and 3rd party tools?

Symptom

You are using a standard Third Party integration on CPI/BTP, and wish to know how to add a date suffix in the name of the file that CPI/BTP puts into the SFTP.

Cause

Expected behaviour.

Resolution

For our standard integrations on CPI, we internally use the adapters provided by CPI. In this case, the SFTP adapter provided by CPI is available with certain parameters as mentioned in the following Guide:

Configure the SFTP Receiver Adapter | SAP Help Portal

Append Timestamp is one such parameter, this has been exposed to customers. However, according to this Guide, there is no way to append only the date using this parameter, therefore, as this option is not provided by CPI, the same will not be possible for a standard integration with SAP SuccessFactors either.
