3225605 - Query on Boomi does not return any records

Symptom

You are performing a query on SAP SuccessFactors API's via Boomi, e.g. https://[api endpoint]/odata/v2/JobApplication?$format=json&$select=applicationId,applicationDate,appLocale,custEntity&$filter=(applicationId eq 123 and custEntity eq null)&$top=100, however this does not return any records in Boomi.

When doing the query through a REST client like Postman or SAP SuccessFactors' Integration Center, it works properly.

When capturing the API logs from Boomi, you notice that that the filter is: $filter=(applicationId eq 820 and custEntity eq 'null'), i.e. it has single quotes around the null value. When running this via Postman or Integration Center, it will not return any results until the single quotes sent by the Boomi connector are removed (in which case it will work)
