3225774 - Site Field is Blank for Purchase Request

Purchase Request's Site field is not filled.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Go to Purchase Requests view.
3. Search for the ID of the Purchase Request.
4. Click in Edit button.
5. Navigate to Delivery subtab.

See that 'Site' is not filled

The Purchase Request was created via Bundling Run after a Sales Order as a third-party scenario. If you open the Sales Order related to this Purchase Request, you can check which is the Company of the document. Keep a note of the Company's ID.

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Go to Org Structures view.
3. Click in Find button.
4. Search for the Company's ID.
5. Click in Locate.

You can see that this Company has more than one Business Residence.
If you navigate to Definitions tab for each Org Unit, you'll see that they have different associated Sites. For example, Org Unit A has associated site B, and Org Unit C has associated site D.

If a company has more than one subordinate Business Residence, the system is unable to determine the Site in the Purchase Request. Instead of defaulting to an erroneous Site, the system will not default any.

This is the designed system behavior.
