3225899 - Hierarchy Date description field is displayed as ID in a chart/Table

Symptom

  • Displaying the description of a hierarchy date is showing the ID , not the description text.
  • The issue is happening in charts/Tables and filters as well.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to sac.
  2. Go to the story based on BW live connection.
  3. Select the chart that is based on a measure and a date dimension and go to the designer panel.
  4. Go to the date  dimension  , click on the three dots and choose display settings as  description .
  5. The description is displayed as ID in the chart .
