3226555 - 'Number Of Resources' field In Production Task Confirmation Is Greyed Out

During production task confirmation, the 'number of resources' field is greyed out for additional resource added under the main resource

SAP  BUSINESS BYDESIGN [ALL]

1.  Go To Production Control work center
2. Task Control -> ID XYZ -> Confirm
3. Enter the confirmed quantity to the output product
4. Go To Activities tab -> select Operation ABC -> 
5.  Resources -> PQR -> 'Number of Resources' is greyed out

During task confirmation, the number of resources field for main resource and additional resources is only editable when the main resource has the "multiple resource" indicator set to true. This means when a resource is an additional resource, it is only editable when the main resource "multiple resource" indicator is set to true. The exception is when the resource is manually added to the task, then it is editable when that resource has "multiple resource" indicator set to true.

Scenario 1:

Release execution model has one main resource with multiple resources indicator set to false and two additional resources. One additional resources has multiple resources indicator set to true and other other false.

In this setup, during task confirmation, it is not possible to edit the number of resources for any resource.

However, if a 3rd additional resource is manually added to task, this will be editable if the multiple resources indicator is set for that resource.

Scenario 2:

In this scenario, consider the main resource from scenario 1 and change the multiple resource indicator to true, then created a new production model.

During task confirmation, it is possible to edit the number of resources for ALL resources.

Scenario 3:

In this scenario, Release execution model has one main resource with multiple resources indicator set to true and two additional resources. One additional resources has multiple resources indicator set to true and other one false.

During task confirmation, it is possible to edit the number of resources for ALL resources.
