3226757 - Known Issue - Agency users unable to add or submit candidates - Recruiting Management

This article describes the known issue in adding or submitting candidates experienced by Agency users.

Agency ownership is by requisition. This issue was not observed with Agency ownership by duration.

Scenario 1: Adding a Candidate that is not in the system as an external or agency candidate.
Action: Add the candidate as Submit New Candidate - Successful.

Scenario 2: Adding a Candidate that is available in the Agency's Candidates' tab (as it was previously submitted).
Action: Add the candidate as Submit Existing Candidate (on another requisition) - Successful (in some instances).

Note: This is not successful for other instances since some older candidates are not showing when searching in the Submit Existing Candidate, hence they cannot be added or submitted.

Scenario 3: Adding a Candidate that is in the system as an external candidate. 

Action: Add the candidate as Submit New Candidate - Not added. No error in the UI, but the http logs and server logs are showing an error.
Action: Add the candidate as Submit Existing Candidate - The candidate is not showing when searching in the Submit Existing Candidate tab, hence they cannot be added or submitted.

The issue is currently under investigation by the Recruiting Engineering team. Please follow this KBA for updates.
