3226948 - DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpMsAttach: local hostname '<hostname> is resolved to loopback address

Symptom

System is unable to start with the below error in dispatcher trace under WORK directory “/usr/sap/<SID>/Instance<Nr>/work" shows below error:

***LOG Q0K=> DpMsAttach, mscon ( <hostname of the server>) [dpMessageSer 1901]
*** DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpMsAttach: local hostname '<hostname of the server> is resolved to loopback address (cf. SAP note 1054467 for details)

*** DISPATCHER EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN ***
