Duplicate site is getting created automatically in the Location.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center
2. Navigate to the Locations view
3. Search for the site XYZ
4. There are two results one is XYZ and the other is XYZ _1

The XYZ _1 is associated with the org unit and the other site is irrelevant and that can be deleted. Probably, initially you would have created and deleted the org unit, that is making the site to be remained as same

Note: Once the site got created with the activation of business residence this two works as a separate entity, anything happens to org structure will not have impact on site.

Make the below changes in the Org Unit:

1) Create an org unit with ID XYZ and mark as Business Residence and Activate, Site with ID XYZ is created

2) Delete the org unit XYZ and activate - The site created in the first step is not deleted

3) Create a new org unit and give ID as XYZ _1 and, mark as business residence, save

Before activating change the ID to XYZ and activate - In this case the site is created with ID XYZ_1 (If in the first place the ID would have been XYZ before saving it would have picked the existing site instead of creating a new one)
