3227779 - Root key backup failed and log volume encryption failed due to missing root keys

Symptom

  • Failed to backup root keys with below error:

    Could not read data ROOT_KEY_BACKUP_STORE
    SQL (2) - general error: exception 1000000: cant execute writeRootKeyLastBackup. Returncode = '0'; $condition$=action == RootKeyAccess::LastBackupAction::RETRY_BACKUP || action == RootKeyAccess::LastBackupAction::RETRY_CHECK_VERSION : at "encryption_root_keys_extract_keys" function (at pos 67)

  • Failed to encrypt log volume with below error:

    * 2: general error: Unexpected error occurred while handling log root key SQLSTATE: HY000
