3227890 - Data in the Numeric Point chart won't be refreshed after changing the story filter selection in SAC

• Data in the Numeric Point chart won't be refreshed after changing the story filter selection in SAC.
• In this case, the story filter is a Current date Input Control, that is using selection by Range and is created via Restricted Measure.
• Input control has got corrupted in the story.

 SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022.08.17

1. Open Story in SAC.
2. Select the corrupted story filter and change the date e.g. from Jul, 2022 to Jun 2022 => the data in the Numeric Point chart won't be refreshed.

Help to understand story filter settings:

1. Create a Numeric Point Chart.
2. Create calculation for the primary measure: Create Calculation - Restricted Measure:
• select a Measure;
• select a Dimension which should be a time dimension;
• select Values for Input Control: Selection - Select by Range
3. Input Control settings:
• Type: Dynamic
• Create Current Data Input Control: e.g. Custom current date / Period; Month; 2002. Jan
• Set Range: e.g. Standard; Month; 0;0

The story calculation is corrupted.

• Re-create the calculation.
• Workaround: manually refresh the data on the page with Data - Refresh => the data on the page will be refreshed.
