When using the Calendar Wizard (Generate Events with Wizard), selecting a parent member in the driving dimension does not automatically select the child members.

SAP Analytics Cloud, all versions

1. Go to the Calendar and select "Generate Events with Wizard"
2. On step 2 select a Model and then a driving dimension with a hierarchy structure
3. Click on "Select Members" and choose a parent member.
4. The child members of the parent are not automatically selected.

This behavior is working as designed.

The reason why we don't have any implicit selection of the child events is that we also want to support the case where a hierarchy node is used to generate a leaf task.

Future enhancements may allow the option to automatically select the child member as well.
