3228064 - Cloud Foundry application instance crashes due to "Exited with status 137 (out of memory)"

Symptom

  • An application instance in a Cloud Foundry subaccount crashes when a user performs one of these commands:
    • cf scale
    • cf stop
    • cf push
    • cf delete
    • cf restart-app-instance
  • The replacement procedure during a Diego Cell evacuation or a health check probe fails, causing the instance to crash.
  • The following error can be seen:
    "exit_description"=>"APP/PROC/WEB: Exited with status 137 (out of memory)"
