3228212 - Wrong date format updated for field Journal Entry Date

In app Manage Journal Entries, the date format for field Journal Entry Date shows abnormal.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

The Journal Entry Date can be set as different from Posting Date, there is no check for date format in field Journal Entry Date. This means it will display exactly what you have input when posting journal entries. If you input date as 25.07.0022, it displays the same.

This is standard system behavior, same applies when posting with app Post General Journal Entries and API posting.
