3228565 - LinkedIn network issue when setting LinkedIn account - Recruiting

Symptom

We are getting an error message "Your LinkedIn Network Will Be Back Soon" when trying to activate Recruiter LinkedIn account in Admin center.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Admin Center > Security Center
  2. LinkedIn Account Setup ⇾ "Your LinkedIn Network Will Be Back Soon" error message is displayed instead of the login page

Cause

Identified network issue on LinkedIn side.

Resolution

The issue has been identified, and a fix was implemented on the LinkedIn side on July 26, 2022.

For more details, you can create a ticket with LinkedIn or check their API Status and Incidents page.

If you are experiencing the error message "Something went wrong" (see below), you will need to double-check if the popup blocker in your browser is disabled and third-party cookies are allowed. Don't forget to clear cache after changing the settings. You can also try another browser.
