Symptom

  • Client connection unexpectedly terminated when executing UPDATE on a table variable.
  • ASE errorlog contains an "Infected with signal 11" error with an "Address:" line showing the function update():

    Address 0x0x0000000001c5d9e2 (update+0x4612), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x0x0000000000000238)
    Current process (0x510029) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)

  • The following stack trace includes these functions:
