3229469 - Unexpected Delay Between Manual Business Partner Deletion

You are deleting business partners in the Information Lifecycle Management work center, and notice a delay before being able to perform the next deletion.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Open the Information Lifecycle Management work center.
2. Enter the Business Partner view.
3. Select a business partner with Disclosure Status shown as Disclosed.
4. Click View and Delete Disclosed Data.
5. Click on Delete Disclosed Data.
6. Confirm the Deletion of the Business Partner.

After the deletion, you need to wait before the next business partner can be deleted.

Each business partner deletion starts a deletion run in the backend. Only after the completion of  this run the next deletion can be started

The system works as expected.

You may refer to the application log to verify related errors / in case a deletion run is not completed.
