3229945 - Activation Failed Error When Using Transport Management to Upload Reports

When uploading a report or other analytical objects with Transport Management you see the errors below:

Failed to activate transport object type Analytical Content.

Activation failed.

•  SAP Cloud For Customer

1. In your SOURCE system create a transport in the Transport Management Work Center.
2. Upload this transport to your TARGET tenant.
3. You will see errors such as the below:

Failed to activate transport object type Analytical Content.

Activation failed.

In your source tenant, you created the data source / report which is based on a PDI data source, this object is on a different patch version.

To illustrate this on an example:

Source system XYZ is on Version 11

Target System ABC is on Version 10

Please ensure that both systems are on the same version.
