3230001 - Business Partner VAT ID shows no information on Intrastat Declaration

When processing an Intrastat Declaration, you have noticed that no information is available under column "Business Partner VAT ID"

SAP BusinessByDesign

Select the work center Intrastat

Go to Intrastat Declarations view

Search and open the Intrastat Declaration ABC

Go to Items tab

From here you can see the column "Business Partner VAT ID" (it can be added through adaptation mode if needed).

No information is available under this column.

This is the expected system behaviour.

During the creation of the Intrastat Declaration, the system will find and maintain data to build the document.

Only the mandatory information will be fetch by the system.

Business Partner VAT ID is not a mandatory field, therefore the related information will not be shown.

This can be enabled through add-on.
