3230047 - Future-Date hires from Onboarding becomes active in UDF - Onboarding

• Future dated hire has been converted as internal employee prior to target date.
• Candidates with hire date in the future show active in the User Directory File (UDF)

• SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Log in to the instance
2. Go to Employee Export
3. Download a new user file
4. See that the new hire has been set as active although it is future-dated hire.

• The issue is happening because the candidate's Job Information does not have the timezone associated.
• As a result, the future dated hires are also getting converted to internal hire once the Manage Pending Hire process is completed.

To avoid this from happening to your future-dated hires, configure the TimeZone automatically.
