3230276 - Re-validation warning message keeps prompting in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • Re-validation pop-up keeps prompting up until the user clicks on the "Save & Exit" option after importing data from a flat file to an existing model.
  • After finishing the mappings and transformations, re-validation warning message appears even after clicking on the re-validation, it says "There are some changes detected.".
  • Once clicking on "Save and Exit" and warning disappears and there is no data quality issue at all. 

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022.8.17

    Reproducing the Issue

    1. Logon to SAC.
    2. Open an existing model based on import jobs.
    3. Add a new source (import job) from an excel file (flat file).
    4. Apply the necessary mappings and transformations if needed.
    5. Notice that at the end, there is a warning message that keeps popping up: "We detected some changes in your wrangling sample, mapping, or import settings."
    6. However if you click on Save and Exit and return back to this page, the warning message disappears.
