3230923 - Output Parameter Determination - Authorization Issues - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Looking to edit decision table in Output Parameter Determination app but do not have authorization.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Output Parameter Determination app.
2. Select the required Show Rules for and Determination Step fields under Select Business Rules tab.
3. Choose Edit Decision Table.
4. Error message: "You have no authorization to change object...".

Missing authorization.

To be able to edit decision table in Output Parameter Determination, Business Catalog SAP_BCR_CA_OC_PC is required.

For access this catalog the user must have the Business Role: SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_BR_CONF_EXPERT_BUS_NET_INT assigned to their Business User.

In order to edit decision table in Output Parameter Determination, the followings have to be done:

1. For SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_BR_CONF_EXPERT_BUS_NET_INT Business Role the Write Access should be changed from "No access" to "Unrestricted".
• Open Maintain Business Roles app
• Select SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_BR_CONF_EXPERT_BUS_NET_INT
• Choose Edit
• Choose Maintain Restrictions
• Set Write, Read, Value Help to Unrestricted
2. For SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_BR_CONF_EXPERT_BUS_NET_INT Business Role the SAP_CA_BC_OC_PC Business Catalog have to be added via:
• Open Maintain Business Users app
• Search for Business User
• Choose Assigned Business Roles tab
• Open SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_BR_CONF_EXPERT_BUS_NET_INT
• Choose Edit
• Choose Assigned Business Catalogs tab
• Add SAP_CA_BC_OC_PC Business Catalog
3. For SAP_CA_BC_OC_PC Business Catalog, Write Access have to be set to "Unrestricted".

After adjusting these settings, the decision table can be edited in Output Parameter Determination app.
