3231345 - System is Not Showing The Logistics Area ID in The Inventory Balance Report

System is showing Site ID and Logistics Area ID showing as not assigned (#) in the Inventory Balance report.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Internal Logistic work center. 
2. Go to the Reports view. 
3. Find and open the Report: Inventory Balance.
4. Enter the relevant Actual Execution On (Date) between aa.bb.cccc and xx.yy.zzzz (aa.bb.cccc and xx.yy.zzzz calendar date).
5. Enter the relevant Product ID.
6. Click Apply.
7. You can see for the row with a particular Increasing Quantity and a particular Decreasing Quantity the system is showing the hash symbol (#). 

The stock type for the highlighted row is Goods issue, which can be added as a characteristic in the report's output. The Goods Issue stock is tagged to a Warehouse Order and unless you use a two-step outbound task model (where the pick operation is complete, but the Load operation is not), system does not assign the Logistics Area to it.

System is working as designed.
