3231425 - Fixing Validation errors in Query Validation Tool does not get reflected in Story Designer

After fixing some validation errors in the Query Validation Tool, widgets on Story Designer page are still showing some errors.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Access report in Edit mode, see errors in the widgets
2. Navigate to the Data source and Preview it.
3. Upon Preview, one or more query validation error appears in the Query Validation Tool.
4. Fix the errors with the Query Validation Tool until the report is previewable
5. Navigate back to the Story Designer and see that the widgets still return errors.

Story Designer is not refreshed or widgets still contain fields already removed from the Data Source.

This is an expected behavior as Query Validation tool only works for the query/data source.

Widgets on the Story UI still need to be fixed manually as fields previously existing in the Data Source may be used. For example, if some fields need to be removed from the query with the help of Validation Tool, they would need to be removed from the widgets manually afterwards.

It is also strongly advised that a Data Refresh is performed after modifying a data source, which will fix some errors on the Story Designer.
