3231490 - Country name change from Turkey to Türkiye - First Half 2023 Release (1H 2023) - Recruiting Management

The Republic of Türkiye changed its official name from The Republic of Turkey. The change has been done in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and country's name terminology has been updated to the short form Türkiye.

In last H1 2023 Release, the country name was updated accordingly to ISO Standards. However, it is required to change the Label in Picklist Center for the 'country' picklist, 'ISOCountryList' picklist, and the country object in Admin Center > Manage Data to have it updated in Recruiting.
The new Label for EN_US is Türkiye.

The new label for English US needs to be updated in all three places to the option is available correctly in Recruiting. Failing to update may cause issues like the Turkey option missing when creating a candidate profile, when updating the country field to Turkey for an existing profile the save option overrides the value of the field.

The updated country/region name has impact on the following areas:

• Candidate Profile - You've to manually update the picklist associated to the country field to reflect the name change.

• Job Application - You've to manually update the picklist associated to the country field to reflect the name change.

• Job Country dropdown option on Career Site page - The filtering option is automatically updated.

• Country picklist for Set up Job Board Options in Admin Center - The picklist is automatically updated.

• MDF Generic Object Country/Region in Admin Center - You've to manually update the generic object to reflect the country name change.

• Country of Residence on Data Capture Form in Career Site Builder - You've to refresh the picklist for the country field.
  
  

Note: After configuration and label changes, it is recommend to run an Odata Metadata Refresh. The label change may take a few hours to reflect.
