3231518 - 'Renumbered checks are not within number range of check lot' Error Message While Renumbering an Outgoing Check

 An error message is displayed while renumbering an outgoing check:

'Renumbered checks are not within number range of check lot'

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Payment Management or Liquidity Management work center.
2. Go to the Payment Monitor view.
3. Find an Outgoing Check with External Reference AAA (AAA means the Check Number).
4. Click the gear icon and click Renumber.
5. Enter New Lowest Check Number as BBB and click OK.
6. Error is displayed:

'Renumbered checks are not within number range of check lot'

The Check Number BBB does not belong to the same Check Lot from which AAA has been picked.

To renumber AAA, you should use a check number from the same Check Lot (same number range).
