3231667 - Online redo log corruption on Azure - NetWeaver

Symptom

  • online redo log files corrupt frequently with error ORA-00353
    ORA-00353: log corruption near block 260480 change 73913651263 time
    ORA-00312: online log 2 thread 1: '/oracle/SID/origlogA/log_g11m1.dbf'
  • Add new log group and drop the corrupt log group. The issue can be fixed. But the new log group will be corrupted again.
  • database is running on Azure
