3231946 - CMS crashes on Kernelbase.dll due to ORA-00600 errors

Symptom

  • The Central Management Server (CMS) crashes on Kernelbase.dll
  • The crashing thread (Analysing the crash dumps via WinDBG), shows the below error:

  • CMS traces show the crashing thread ends with errors:
    assert failure: (DatabaseRelationships_impl.cpp:602). (false : CRelationships::GetTables - Unable to get table information for relationship ID 566 - may not exist).
    assert failure: (DatabaseRelationships_impl.cpp:610). (0 : no message).
    assert failure: (DatabaseSubsystem_impl.cpp:9796). (0 : no message).

  • Other entries in the CMS traces show an ORA-00600 error:
