3232068 - Unable to hide the Y-Axis Labels of a Bar Chart with Trellis that shows percentages in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • Unable to hide the Y-Axis.
  • The option to not show the Y-Axis on a chart does not work.
  • If we uncheck the option "Show Chart as 100%", it is possible to hide the Y-Axis Labels.
  • When unchecking the option "Y-Axis Labels", it still shows the Y-Axis on the Trellis Chart in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2022.8

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In SAP Analytics Cloud, create a Story.
  2. Insert a Bar Chart with a Measure, and a Dimension.
  3. In Builder, check the chart option "Show Chart as 100%"
  4. Still in Builder, on the right side of "Chart Struncture" section, click on the 3 dots, and select "Add Trellis"
  5. Scroll down to the Trellis section, and select a Dimension for the Trellis.
  6. On the Chart, under "More Actions - Show/Hide", uncheck the option: "Y-Axis Labels"
  7. Notice the Y-Axis Label showing the percentage still show, despite it should be hidden.
