3232120 - Error Occurs When Redeeming Points via XOXO Day

When attempting to redeem points through the XOXO Day platform, the system displays an error message and the redemption cannot be completed.

• Choose to redeem my points:
  

• Select the tile that directs you to XOXO Day.

• Choose the desired gift card and add it to My Cart.

• Click on Proceed to Checkout.

• Toggle Use available reward points.

• Click on Proceed to Redeem.

• At this point, an error message is displayed and redemption cannot be completed.

• The system displays the error message: "Payment failed".
• 
• Upon checking with XOXODAY vendor, they provide the log to the customer and ask them to reach out to SAP:

The error occurs because the user does not have the required Spot Award Redemption – Edit permission under Miscellaneous Permissions.

Grant the user the Spot Award Redemption (Edit) permission under Miscellaneous Permissions, ensuring the correct target population is applied.
