3232688 - Software Update Manager (SUM) - an error occurs in phase TOOLCHECKXML_EXE

During an upgrade to S/4HANA 2021 using the Software Update Manager, an error occurs in phase PREP_INPUT_CHECK/SUBMOD_KERNEL_SCAN_TOOLCHK_PRE/SUBMOD_KERNEL_SCAN_TOOLCHK_NONSERIAL/TOOLCHECKXML_EXE

The following errors can be seen:

The upgrade procedure with target release 756 needs a newer version of the tool
listed below.
Each tool in question was called from the target release kernel in
'/usr/sap/SID/SUM/abap/exe'.

SAP HANA DB and operating system Linux X86_64) according to *SAP Note 2337629*
and put the archives into the download directory
