3232964 - Cannot hide 'Edit' button on Sales Quote via Adaptation

You wish to hide the "Edit" button for Sales Quotes.

 SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Start Adaptation.
2. Sales Workcenter > Sales Quotes View.
3. Open any Sales Quote.
4. See that the 'Edit' button cannot be adapted, hence cannot be set as hidden or not visible.

This is the expected behaviour. The ability to hide the 'Edit' button is not currently supported.

This is expected action.

As an alternative you can restrict the access to edit the page for users. This will not hide the button but users will not be able to use it:

1. Open Administration > General Settings.
2. Under "Users" open "Business Roles" (can be done for business users also).
3. Open the Role for which you want to restrict access.
4. Select "View All" in the top right. (Edit > Access Rights button for Business Users).
5. In the page opened select the tab "Access Restrictions".
6. Find the Sales Quotes Work center here.
7. Under "Write Access", select "Restricted".
8. Save.
