3232979 - Drill option is disabled for hierarchical dimensions in a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

In a story of SAP Analytics Cloud, the "Drill" option is greyed out for the specific dimension when right clicking on the dimension which has enabled hierarchies in the model

• SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Create a model containing dimension A
2. Enable and create at least one hierarchy for the dimension A in this model
3. Create a story based on this model and add a table containing dimension A to this story
4. Right click on the dimension A header cell 
5. Observe that the "Drill" option for this dimension A is greyed out

For performance reasons, after a system upgrade, models are upgraded consecutively over time. The function Redeploy Model can be used if there is any incorrect data or exceptions errors in widgets in stories and analytic applications. This usually means that the model is corrupted. This option can help to regenerate all runtime artefacts and fixes these errors.

1. Open the model and go to Model Preferences.
2. Go to Data and Performance.
3. Click on Redeploy Model.
