3233034 - BW query settings for Text output format, are not reflecting in SAP Analytics Cloud

• SAP Analytics Cloud is not reflecting the changing in the BW query settings for Text output format. 

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2022.8.17.

1. In BW query settings, select short text for the Text output format.
2. Open SAC.
3. Create a story based on BW live connection and add a table widget. 
4. In SAC set the Display option to "ID and Description" for Rows.
5. From BW side, change the Text output format to long text.
6. Notice: In SAC text format of the table Rows has not changed according to BW side settings.

• "Respect text presentations that are defined at BW Query level." option is disabled.

1. Go to SAC menu > Administration > System Configuration.
2. Scroll down to the following item: "Rspect text presentations that are defined at BW Query level."
