Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Business Analytics.
  2. Open your report from the Design Reports view, or your data source from the Design Data Sources view.
  3. Start the report or data source, error occurs.

Cause

One cell in reporting supports up to 17 digits (for integer values). In this case, a key figure contains a value with more than 17 digits which causes the error.

This can happen where the selection is not restricted, and some key figure values therefore contain very large values.

Resolution

Please put a selection in place before executing the report or data source. This ensures that the values are not too large (under 17 digits).
