Symptom
While previewing a Data Source or executing a Report, system displays the following error messages:
- "TREX error occurred"
- "TREX-ERROR (1699): Error during deserialization/Overflow converting from 'ABC' [XSLT Info: CLASSNAME = CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW, PARAMNAME ="
- "No connection to search engine"
Environment
- SAP Cloud for Customer
- SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Business Analytics work center.
- Open the report from Design Reports view, or your Data Source from the Design Data Sources view.
- Execute the Report or Data Source.
System displays the error message.
Cause
One cell in reporting supports up to 17 digits (for integer values). In this case, a key figure contains a value with more than 17 digits which causes the error.
This can occur when the selection isn’t restricted, causing certain key figures to include excessively large values.
Resolution
Please maintain a selection before executing the Report or Data Source. This ensures that the values are not too large (under 17 digits).
