3233661 - Purchase Requisition Reminder Emails Are Triggered Only Once

Symptom

Purchase requisition reminder emails are triggered only once. Deadline reminder has been set as e.g. 48 hours. But there is no 2nd email being triggered even after the approver has failed to approve it after 48 + 48 hours.

Resolution

Purchase requisitions reminder emails being triggered only once is the standard system design.

The triggering of email will not happen automatically. For example: If the first email has been set to 48 hrs, and the approver has not taken any action, the second email that is after 48+48 hours will not be triggered.

The workaround is that you will have to manually define the intervals via multiple deadlines. We will have to go by setting up deadlines manually by which the PRs reminders are sent at different intervals if the PR has not been approved/rejected.
