3234083 - A server error has occurred and the values cannot be processed

Symptom

Create a new story with an initial variable screen with some mandatory variables. When try to call a F4 value help for a variable, nothing happens and error message is thrown: "A server error has occurred, and values cannot be processed. Please try again later. Expand". If then F4 value help is called again, everything works.
