3234379 - Derive Job Requisition Template rule

Symptom

When creating a rule using the Derive Job Requisition Template in Recruiting Integration scenario (for purpose of selecting the template in Position to Requisition integration), the Raise Message option only offers 'Error' as Message Type, not 'Info' or 'Warning'.

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Admin Center > Configure Business Rules
Click the + symbol to create a new rule
Select Position Management > Derive Job Requisition Template in Recruiting Integration
Enter the required information and click Next
Edit the 'Then' expression at the bottom
Select Raise Message in the first field
Notice that the 'Severity' field only offers 'Error' as option, not 'Info' or 'Warning'

Cause

This is intended behaviour.

In this rule, the Raise Message option is restricted to 'Error' type only. The business justification is that if the template cannot be derived, it's not possible to proceed further with requisition creation and therefore an 'Info' or 'Warning' message is not sufficient.

Resolution

If Raise Message is used with this rule scenario, the 'Error' type should be the only one needed.
