3234424 - Unable to Scope the Question Do You Want to Centrally Assign Service Performers Based on Their Availability in the Resource Calendar?

You are trying to scope the question Do you want to centrally assign service performers based on their availability in the resource calendar? in your Implementation Project, however the scoping question is grayed out.

SAP Business ByDesign 2205 and higher.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Then go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select First Implementation and click Edit Project Scope.
4. Go to the Questions step.
5. Expand Service > Service and Repair > Service Order.
6. The question Do you want to centrally assign service performers based on their availability in the resource calendar? is grayed out.

It's not possible to use the dispatching board when resource calendar for projects based on committed work is scoped.

This is the expected system behavior.

You can follow the steps below to activate the Question:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center. 
2. Then go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select First Implementation and click Edit Project Scope.
4. Go to the Question step.
5. Expand Project Management > Project Planning and Execution > Project Resource Management.
6. Then you need to scope the question Do you want to use Resource Availability Search based on planned work specified at the task level of a project?

By doing the steps above, the question Do you want to centrally assign service performers based on their availability in the resource calendar? will be available for scoping.
